LG VOLT SCREEN FLUCTUATING :(

Lurker
just bought this LG VOLT yesterday (excited too) but after a few minutes of turning it on i was dissappointed.. the screen is going from dim to light and its freakin annoying,,, cant even see the pictures, its like a light bulb losing power except the battery is full. ive heard great reviews about this phone but i felt like i bought one of those fake phones. im returning it to best buy. MY FIRST LG PHONE AND ITS A LEMON.

Yeah, unfortunately for as good as the phone is, there seems to be an almost equal amount of defects.

Mine does that at a very low brightness setting. If I set the brightness to at least 25%, it then stops doing that.

The phone has thermal throttling for the screen. Once it reaches a certain temp it lowers the screen brightness to cool down the phone. Almost all lg phones have this. If you try to manually increase the brightness it will reach a certain point and say unable to increase brightness due to temperature increase.

I have literally never experienced this and I get my phone pretty warm playing games.

I don't think that this is what these people are experiencing. I'm sure if they encountered that notification, this conversion wouldn't be occurring.

You must keep your screen on a lower setting. Its a known thing for all lg devices. Try it out. Crank your brightness all the way up heat up the phone and watch what happens.

I normally keep my phone 50% or 100%, especially when playing games.
