Root LG Volt - Wiped, flashed, fixed. But....

OK.. so sorta long story.

I have a volt that I got from Textnow. TN is just like any other prepaid web based phone service (for those unfamiliar). I used TWRP to do a data wipe and wiped the dalvik cache and was attempting to clean anything else that might be causing a force close I was getting in the settings app. In the menu for wiping the cache there was also a checkbox for "system". Since everything else in that menu was related to wiping the caches I figured wtf.

Well low and behold I ended up deleting the firmware by checking that little system box. I would have thought they would have had a warning as is the norm if that checkbox would lead to such drastic changes.. but oh well.. I should have known better for as long as I have been doing this. So upon any subsequent reboots the system would stall at the LG screen because, well.. no OS. So I did my work and found what I could for stock firmware and any other info I could find. Thank the phone gods for this site. It has been my go to for years. Anyhow..

What I ended up flashing was the following:

lgls740_20140414_lgflashv160

I also added the v6 radio as well to match the version of the firmware (was recommended in the instrutions put forth by the guy who uploaded the files).

So everything works. The phone is not bricked or anything and I was able to still maintain service with no known issues (as of yet). I have had this phone in this "state" for about a week and all use seems normal. So here's the thing that I have some concern with. My MSN and MIN both show different numbers. Now I know that could just be representative of a previous account or person that may have had the phone (didn't think it was a refurb, but what do I know). And like I said, service works. Activation seems to have gone thru just fine when I reactivated after the flash.

So do I need to continue? Meaning, is there more that I still need to fix before I can say that I am done? I feel like I am missing something, or something on my phone might be connecting where it shouldn't. But with a service like TN it is kinda hard for me to figure out where I should even be looking. Its not like they have a big amount of data on them out in the world.

If there is anything one of you guys and gals can think of that would be splendid. lol.. sorry I'm using that word alot lately.. sounds funny.

Are you referring to MDN & MIN numbers?, not familiar with MSN . If you are , they don't have to be the same and is controlled by your provider and reason why they are sometimes different is because that equivalent MIN( internally used by your carrier to identify and process your calls) is unavailable to be assigned to you. Prior to customers being allowed to port their numbers (MDN) from one carrier to the other, those 2 were always the same . The porting ability in the industry changed all that. MDN is known & what you give to the public, while your MIN is private and only used by your carrier. Most likely your current MIN is someone else MDN right now. Nothing to worry about if your phone is able to make & receive calls, if they were wrong you will not be able to do either. Data (LTE) on the other hand uses the "sim card number" to authenticate you on the network, so that will work regardless of number programmed into phone.
