Help LG Vortex and google to many pattern attempts lock out

Phone locked by google. Google username and password work on computer but error appears "too many pattern attempts" on phone. I would really like to not have to reset phone to factory and lose all the data. please help!
 
Did you call verizon tech support and ask them how to fix it? maybe they could unlock it for you remotely somehow. Otherwise I think a factory reset will be your only option
 
I checked with my daughter who works for ATT. She said that your only option at this point would be a factory reset.
