Root Liberty 1.0 Theme Mirrors

Could you please update the OP with screenshots of the themes? This post is pretty much worthless without them cuz we have no idea what we'd be flashing.

Thanks though

Just be aware that I lost Market after changing to Revolution Remix from Revolution.

what is the difference between those two? and get that fixed?

Yeah, I originally installed Liberty over GJ 2.5 without wiping Data and Cache. I had some other issues as well so I backed up my apps using the Liberty toolbox and my homescreen settings with LP+, then wiped data, cache, and system. Reinstalled Liberty from zip file and applied the Revolution Remix theme with no problems.

The difference between the two is the Revolution theme is pretty much black and white. The remix adds color in the settings menu icons, power control widget, etc.

What I'd really like is a Revolution theme with a green battery indicator.

Sorry, this is an old screencap, so I don't have the same screenshot, but the screen would look like this for the Menu, Settings screen, but the icons would just be in white with no colors.

Revolution has battery percentage in the battery indicator, Remix does not. Remix has the Black Market mod, Revolution does not.

If I want to safely return to the stock theme to try a different theme than the one that I'm on, how do I do it? I tried to simply flash a new theme over the old one, and it caused all sorts of glitches ( mixing of themes, force closes, etc.).

I just keep flashing them over one another. No problems here.

I think the idea is that you should be able to throw one on top of another. No other option is provided for in Toolbox (i.e base Liberty). You'd have to do that manually in CWM.

FWIW I have done it with a couple themes now with no problems. Yet...

I have experienced problems flashing themes over each other. Some of the themes are pretty minimal as evident from their small file sizes, they just replace the system files necessary to theme for that particular theme. If you flash one of these minimal themes over a theme with more customized files, then you will have problem because not all of the customized files in the last theme gets overwritten.

I advise you to flash back to a backup of Liberty that was made immediately after installing it, to reset all the system files, before flashing to another theme.

Unfortunately I've made significant downloads and file alterations since flashing my current theme, so restoring a nandroid is somewhat out of the question. Maybe I could find a complete stock Liberty theme to flash? Or perhaps I could reflash the liberty ROM without wiping data?

It would probably be better to reinstall Liberty, then do a restore of Data from your backup after the clean install.

Then, since you're doing that clean install, make a backup of Liberty before restoring the backed up data. ;)
