Root liberty 1.5 question

I was ha involved trouble being able to open things i downloaded on the browser and xscope. It always says failed to a open default viewer. So i installed "3d gallery" from the liberty tool box thinking that would give me another media gallery. But i don't see another gallery option. Does anyone know if this is an app type thing or does it just modify the gallery? Also any suggestions on how to fix or change the default viewer?

when you install the 3d gallery it only overwrite the default app so there should be only one gallery app in your app drawer

I thought about that but the gallery looks the exact same as it did before i installed the 3d
