Root Liberty: Wifi icon on status bar?

Im curious as to why I dont get a WIFI connect icon on the status bar when I am on WiFi?

I'm running Liberty 3.
 
sometimes the simplest of things can be easily overlooked, dont feel bad, you werent aware. next time you will know to check :)
