So i have the LG Optimus M, and one of my friends told me that her friend also has it, and that she turned the frontal sensor into a frontal camera by going to metro pcs and asking them to? She says her friend can now use oovoo and stuff.

I dont really believe her but i'm just here to make sure o_o is it true that you can do that or not?

There is no way that is true. Even if it were another camera in there (it is not), the plastic is dark enough that almost no light would make it through. Besides, digital camera sensors do not have an awareness of depth. They focus based by adjusting the lens to make the image as sharp as possible. I does not actually measure distance even though that is how we interpret the results.
