I was at best buy a while and got a credit check to make I could get this phone if I wanted. I can. Now I would like to hear you guys likes and dislikes. I think I'm getting one in about a month

If you want a phone with a lot of screen real estate, this is the one to get. That was the main deciding factor for me. There were no other phones anywhere at the same size, so it was an easy decision. Plus I was currently on Virgin Mobile non-contract, so I could bail that anytime, which I did. :)

Not Ice Cream Sandwich (yet), not as smooth/silky in scrolling around, etc as iOS, but that's probably all of Android at the moment (maybe not ICS), battery life is decent but could be better.

Well. I got my Note just this past week. I had been using an iPhone 1 for 5 years almost.

I don't use data on my cell phones. It's usually just for making calls.

Anyways. I have been very much against Android phones for years because I just didn't invest the time in getting to know them, or the operating system.

Anyways I was at a restaurant and I saw this guy with a HUGE phone up to his ear, and at that moment I had to have one.

Now that I do, I am really happy with my decision to try an Android phone.

Let's see.

I love to tinker, hack, and customize. The note lets me do that, and it seems like it will only get better as the phone gets more popular.

I like the S-Pen. As a musician, sometimes on the road I need to quickly jot down ideas. and using my iPhone to have to type it all in was a pain. Now, it's just so easy.

I love the size of the screen. I have an iPad, and this won't replace that. But, I don't see myself going back to a smaller phone anytime.

Battery life is really good. I don't use data. And I just have the widget installed on my main screen to disable/enable wi-fi/bluetooth/gps/sync. I use all of those, but just disable them when I am not using them, or turning off the phone for a while. I like being able to do that so easily.

The screen is great. Makes my iPad look fuzzy and washed out (i have original iPad).

I am getting into the whole rooting scene, and I love it. Since I switched my while setup to Apple about 5 years ago (MacBooks/ipads/iphone/ipod) I didn't realize how little control I had over my devices and the software. This phone lets me play again, then way I like to.

I don't wear tight pants, but I don't wear baggy ones, and the phone fits in every pocket i have tried. even my jacket and with lots of room. I don't use a case. When is it down etc, can't even feel it usually. (front pockets only).

coming from a original iPhone, I wanted a device with a great camera and 1080p video recorder, and this is great! finally. I love that it records sound in stereo. quality of videos is top notch too.

I like having a replaceable battery!

I don't like that it comes preloaded with so much software. granted. about 1/2 of it is useful to me. But I wish you had the choice of what software is installed. but as is, i just made a folder for all the stuff i will never use and tucked them all in there.

I think that's about it. I recommend this phone to anyone.
