Root Limited Recovery options

i have gone through the steps to unlock bootloader for bell atrix and upgrade to GB 2.3.4. i was able to unlock the bootloader no proble. when i get to the part where is says Install CWM i only get the android with the exclamation then i press bottom right of the display. limited options in recovery mode:

apply sdcard
wipe data
wipe cache

i do not get option to install zip from sd card or advanced options.

error in yellow at bottom of screen E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command

I am VERY green to Androids.

HELP PLEASE.

Let's see here..what version of cwm recovery did you install and do you want to share a link with me? PM so we can talk on google talk for faster replies, this is not my primary forum sorry.

I am experiencing same problem with Motorola Atrix on 4.1.83. The factory reset does not work, I can't upgrade software, E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command message, etc. Every time I shut phone down it reverts to older date for email and text messages (Jun 21 in my case), some apps that I've deleted return, others that I've added disappear.

Any help with this issue is appreciated.
