Root [LINARO] AWEstruck v1.04 12/14/14 | [3.4.107] v1.05b6 5/30/15

OK so I installed the moonshine ROMan along with your Kernel. Currently have it set at 1.45ghz on the wheatly governor. And 627mgz on demand with the GPU. Minimum cores=2.
I now have an option in Android tuner to save settings as initd script. What exactly does that mean?

I'm not familiar with that setting of Android tuner, but an init.d script is a script that gets set at boot, so instead of your settings being applied after boot, by the app, they would get applied during the boot up process. The kernel has to have init.d support however.

Heh, something to add to my list to add into the kernel.

I'd say for now flip the "on boot" switches so that Android Tuner sets them as you finish booting. That's exactly what I do.

Alright cool. Yeah I've had no issues yet..knock on wood lol maybe will update you. And it'd be cool to have initd support! And your welcome for the feedback! Thank you for making a really cool kernel!

What is everyone overclocking at? I am at 1.72 right now. I was at 1.5 before. I noticed only a slight improvement in my benchmarking times when I jumped up from there. Where are you guys at? I would like to find that sweet spot between performance and battery consumption.

I keep mine around 1.5 just because I don't feel the demand for the extra power for my basic uses right now. Spock has some suggestions in the OP for what he feels is optimal for performance and battery consumption. You may wanna check that out.

Good news! Got some dev time in last night and cleaned up the wifi code, AND cherry picked phenom's first commit. Compiles OK, gotta get the rest of his commits. Stand by for a test KitKat kernel...
