With script removed:)

So, I'm currently running under the assumption that ondemand is bugged. I'm going to look into replacing it, but for now I recommend using anything but.

I been trying the different govs to see their inherent effect on performance/battery drain and have had my device on ondemand since about 8 with no issues. Still at max clocks.

This is why I said take my input lightly. While I beat the living hell out of everything I test (just got done fighting to get Nova 3 to run on my Nexus...finally won!) my AWE has taken all of the punishment. I'm not sure what it is with my device, but it has not failed me in any way with anything since our very first builds of rom/kernel development.
Is there anything I can pull that might help you determine the discrepancies between the devices? Maybe help stabilize some things?
I'm actually considering dropping my AWE because I'm about to come up on a Blu Studio 5.5 or Lg G2/3, so if I come into those I would be willing to donate mine for the cause if interested

I think it just comes down to the way we use our phones, every person uses it differently. Some people may not use their phone often where others constantly turn it on and off. Different clocks. Everyone uses a different set of apps too. So all that leads to different paths in the code.

I have seen a number of checkins on Cyanogenmod against the ondemand governor, so I'm going to go cherry-picking / porting and we'll see how that works out. Can't hurt anything at least. Once that's done I'll do a full 1.03 release.

Removing script causes phone to not go into deep sleep at all?? And I'm showing unused states now

Edit: all seems well after reboot and on batt instead of charger

Careful there buddy. Without proper voltage control bumping the clocks too high could short the chip, even desolder it from the board. That is even if your phone boots that far. Spock should find somewhere hes comfortable with. Were already putting our devices at risk as it is

In going to leave it at 1.7 for now but I've seen since kernels provide up to 2.0. If enough people report stability at 1.7 I'll bump the table up. Doing so will drive the voltage up from 3v to 3.5v, so it comes with a bit of risk.

I had it at @ 1.9 had to do a rest forgot to do back up lost the kernal that allowed me to oc that far it ran good no reboots or getting hot this one is fast but I like faster lol

Is 3v the default voltage? I know people like to o/c stuff, but what about the opposite direction? something with lower voltage for longer battery life?

you can't get rid of in until you figure out the 16 digit DFS password :p

Battery life still sucks?? Did u try removing script??

I have not been in a position to do so yet (hopefully tonight) but what I saw in that script only adjusts the ondemand governor. Have you tried calibrating your battery yet? I know you're nowhere close to running stock ;)

Everybody concerned with performance really needs to think of stability. If you have a Ferrari that stalls from 3rd gear forward you may as well have a Prius lol.

Battery life is good 1.4 and lower, 1.5 and above is funky it doubles battery drain and sometimes freqs don't stick, this is with script removed, I'm gonna try just removing governor presets from script
