Root Link to Anthrax Kernel?

Can anyone give me a link to the latest Anthrax kernel on anthrax-kernels.us? I've joined and am now allowed to download files, but can't seem to find the file under files and then kernels (there are only two).

There are a hundred posts on there how to obtain the kernel. Or you could go to blogs and view #3. Theres a link to the download site, and a password for the download

Hint: CDMA+GSM, version 3.7.0

As of now, I don't seem to have permission to the blogs section. I'll look through the forums though and see what I can find.

Lets see, register, birth date required. Why do they need that? Wait for registration to be approved. Post in the welcome thread, wait for that post to be approved. Funny, there are sticky messages about drama. This registration procedure is drama, IMO. Then you get to go through a guessing game to find the right file to download. This thing better do more than make my phone run benchmarks a little faster to make it worthwhile.

You might want to try the Buttered Toast kernel on XDA. It doesn't require any of that stuff and comes pretty close to Anthrax IMO, and some users have found it to be more stable.

i do agree with ya. thats why u dont see me doing all that just to get the kernel

Anthrax hasn't been updated in months....it's still on version 3.7.0. Personally, ButterToast runs better and is a lot more stable on my V.

I went to the link posted for the password, but it's only the main page of the website. I've been looking through that, but I can't seem to find the password... I'm currently using Buttered Toast.

I think that is the password. Copy the text of the link not click the actual link.

Honestly anthrax kinda blows anymore, with all the drama, sign up progress, and all the instabilities me and others have witnessed with the kernel.

I'd go with MAC if you don't wanna mess around

I've been using it since September/October without any problems and the drama is not the authors fault and is irrelevant to the softwares awesomeness. :p

Is the kernel really that good where u would go through all that to get it? I haven't used it and probably won't ever use it now if it was a kernel that got 3d camera working on jb then shoot yea it would be worthing searching around for. And yes I do no its a ics kernel......I think I don't do too much researching on it

Can anyone tell me why I would want Mac kernel over Buttered Toast? I tried searching for it once but never found it. Buttered is super easy to find so I just started using it.
I can't get anthrax to work. I've gone as far as to add .bak to a bunch of files in the init.d folder and a post boot file. My phone just reboots at some point. Would log cat help figure it out?

Ive never had any issues with any kernel so long as it was compatible to my phone/rom. I am currently using butteredtoast. MAC is better for overclocking. Personally I dont have a preference between the two I use whichever was updated last usually. Only reason im not using anthrax is due to its outdatedness

How can a kernel that was updated 3 months ago with functionality that's still not included in others be obsolete? I've yet to see any new features in more "up to date" kernels.

Whats the point of updating your kernel every 3 days to match "Linux x.x.x" if it doesnt make a difference?

And quite honestly, regarding the "special" code additions, i dont even notice a difference
