Root Link2SD / A2SD

I partitioned my card and downloaded Link2SD. I'm getting an "Invalid Argument" (after Link2SD Is granted Superuser Permissions).

I downloaded A2SD And it said There is no scripts.
I downloaded the scripts and flashed them but I still get the same thing.

Any help?

I found this:

Some phones lack the ext2, ext3 or ext4 file system support and you may get mount errors like "no such device", "invalid argument". These phones need a matching ext2.ko or ext3.ko modules and even some additional modules to be able to mount.
Using FAT32 on the second partition will eliminate such problems, because FAT32 is supported on all phones.

dude im using link2sd you have to create a ext4 partition and it will work and our kernel doesnt support that script that you are trying to flash but devs are already working on enabling that

Thanks! It helped out a lot.

I used MiniTool and erased my SD Card Partition and just created a regular Primary SD Card Partition in FAT32.

CWM Did the rest and now my Link2Sd is working!

Did you really get it working ? .__________________________. It's not supposed to work.

I was able to get link2sd to work on my nephews Vitality (same phone except on crickets network). Oddly enough, I flashed a Admire ROM (which works fine) but now link2sd won't create the script... I've also tried Darktremors script, which also doesn't work. Only other thing I can think of is to run the ROM through kitchen and adding a2sd.. Unless someone has another idea?

Have never had problems with link2sd, working. Was the firsy thing I installed after rooting, and after flashing to beast. Format 2nd partotion to ext2, and think I had to run the main base link twice. After that smooth as silk.

Hmm, interesting. Like I said, I had it working on the stock ROM but for some reason can't get it working with the custom ROM. I may just try and reformat the card..

Crump, I know when I went from stock to beast, I did a full wipe and reformat of my sd card. Cant remember if I had to dl the superuser app or not after the beast install but might want to double check and make sure you have it

Yeah, I just reformatted the card and now it's working fine. Don't know why I didn't do that from the get go since my sd-ext obviously wasn't mounting.
