I just did a fresh ROM install. First time with the new version of Link2SD, so I was excited to not have to use Titanium to restore apps to the second partition.
I installed the ROM, installed TB, did a couple of reboots, then had Link2SD relink apps and library files. Rebooted and all my apps are back and all seem to work fine, except none of the app data was restored! WTF happened?
edit: I have a CWM backup. Noticed that TB has an "extract from nandroid backup" which has a "data only" setting. It was stuck at 0% for a while, then it started working pretty quickly. All my app data seems to be restored.
I assume this happened because all my app data, even for apps that link2SD moved to the 2nd SD partition, was on the /data partition that needs to be wiped for a fresh ROM install. What is the smoothest way to keep my data without having to restore it like I just did? TB is a pain, because I have to go through and uncheck all the system apps I don't want data being restored to.
