Root Link2SD

Dark One

Android Expert
I used this on my V and it worked great. MacFett's guide was very helpful. Recently I tried to dl a game and found out it was going to be over 1gb (surprise!), so I decided I would try Link2SD on this phone. I partitioned my 16gb SD card in to one 10gb main partition and one 4.82gb second partition. Both partitions are primary and the second one is FAT32. I didn't make any changes to the original partition besides carving out a chunk to use for my new partition. This is what Link2SD sees:

It seems to be seeing the second partition twice. I have about 2gb of pictures and stuff on the first partition. My file manager can only see what is on the second partition, but when I pop the SD card out and put it in my computer then I can see what is on the first partition. I haven't tried to link anything yet. Is anybody using this? Is it confused because of the internal memory?

I tired link2sd and never could get it working. Looking at your picture it looks like you have the following:

Internal (Not Internal SD) = 890mb

SD Card (Internal SD Card) = 1.93gb

Ext. SD (External SD) = 4.82gb

SD Card 2nd Part (SD-EXT) = 4.82gb

It's reporting your external sd and sd-ext partitions to be the same size. I doubt you have them paritioned to the exact same size so it seems to be getting confused for some reason.

I'm not sure that our kernel is going to properly recognize an sd-ext partition or not. I have fooled with it quite a few times and never could get it going.

When I get some free time I will be trying to get this working. I'm working on a "anonymous" ROM and I need this to work to get backtrack working
