I'm trying to connect my wii mote or my ps3 controller to my droid eris so i can play emulators without using the screen but I'm having a hard time trying to find a tut or some place to figure it out.

The bad news: You can't do it with any phone with a HTC Sense ROM.
The good news: To remedy it, you just need to root the Eris (look under the HTC Droid Eris All Things Root section to find out how). Then, flash a ROM without HTC Sense. White Widow and Eris Lightning Bolt are some good ones. You will lose HTC Sense, but then Wiimote pairing will work properly.
