Help Linux Driver

I run Linux Mint as my primary OS and do not have a Winblows or Apple OS at my disposal. If I plug my Sequent into my computer will it read it, and the will I be able to transfer files and such. Don't want to try it, and possibly mess up the phone, any response appreciated.

there is no harm in trying. and linux doesnt use drivers just plug it in. sadly though the phone only supports mtp in most roms and even if mtp being horribly slow wasnt bad enough its hard to get it to function right in linux

i use an ftp server on the phone and log in from a desktop ftp client. if both are on the same network it is pretty fast.
