Root Liquid Gingerbread 1.65

thx for posting. Other wise i never hear about the updates since this forum is dying. That or the droid section is. Going back to Liquid since i have had the best battery with his releases.
 
the speed is really nice, and overall feel of the ROM is really nice. The only complaint that I am having is that I am randomly getting Force Closure on process sytsem when I do some actions. Not sure why I am getting that, but I started getting that with SS 5.2 also
 
I had so many problems in 1.6 so I was skeptical about flashing 1.65, but so far I havent had any problems! Definately recommend flashing.
 
Also, the best part ever: the phone immediately turns 3G on after a phone call with no lag *unlike before (for me atleast)*.
 
i've put LGB 1.65 on my rooted D1, everything goes well and i respore apps with titanium backup. when i go to reboot i get stuck at the X boot screen. any thoughts?
 
I would probably install another kernal immediately after installing the rom, before re-booting.

I had the same problem, with 1.65 so decided to try the new Simply Stunning... it pulled the apps corectly but at 1Ghz phone acted really weird and the Qua Standard rate was lower, seems OK at 900Mhz

Overall I have to say my favorite was LFY 1.95 so far.. the gingerbread roms just seem less stable overall.. no specific problems.. just random weird stuff on my droid.
 
I was able to go and manually get them from teh market, and the phone had the correct list of apps that were mine, it just enver automatically went and got them.
 
how to switch icons on the
bottom of screen of LGB1.65 Specifically the phone and contact icons? even if its to thhe stock app icons, you know the ones in th App drawer, the color ones.

ANyone know?

If you're using LP just long press on it then 'change icon'.
