Root Liquid Thunderbread boot animation

[tmette]

I'm running Liquid Thunderbread 2.3 and can't seem to change the boot animation. I keep putting the "bootanimation.zip" in the /system/media folder, but it still uses the old boot animation.

There is also an audio folder in there that has a lot of other folders in there for ringtones and alarm sounds, is that supposed to be in there too? I heard that the boot animation could also be stored in /system/customize/resource, but I don't have that folder so I'm pretty sure it belongs in /system/media. Can anyone help me out here?

Are you kanging the boot animation from another rom? Is is one of liquid's boot animations?

Try also putting the animation in data/local/

Have you removed the original animation from the folder?

I put the animation in /data/local and it worked, thanks!
