I'm using the Gingerbread keyboard and the Go keyboard, I think they are both really good except sometimes when I pick the gingerbread keyboard or switch back to stock it freezes and I have to do a force close on my messenger app.

I like the HTC IME a lot. For those of you with custom ROM and missing the HTC IME:

Make sure you install both APK's- one allows the keyboard to recallibrate, and the other has the actual keyboard

I found that it didn't work on GB very well, so here is another that does work

Im currently and have been using Smart Keyboard Pro (4.6.3 currently) for a long time and keep installing on my new phones. Skins are nice, and the characters to long hold are perfect for me.

Im not a fan of SwiftKeyX really and haven't tried many others. But I will now check out the ones listed in this thread.
