I wanna ask that is there any damage to phone battery if i over charge it?
I have tag some where that lithium ion batteries have built in system which prevent them from over charging is it true?

Yes, the phone's charger circuit will not let you over-charge the battery.

The way to damage a lithium ion battery is to run it down completely on a regular basis. Heat is also not good for batteries. But you don't have to worry about leaving the phone plugged in overnight damaging the battery.

What's a single line tip u give to Make Battery last longer ?
I mean to increase the battery life ?

To increase battery longevity (i.e. how many years the battery will remain usable) my advice is really as above: don't run it down on a regular basis (charging when it's down to 20-60% is fine), don't get it hotter than necessary. And do use the battery - constantly topping up when it's in the 90s isn't going to be helpful. But basically use it without abusing it and don't worry too much otherwise.

If you mean "make it last longer per charge" then that's a matter of controlling power drains (screen brightness, apps syncing more often than needed, etc) rather than how you charge it - there is a lot of bull on some parts of the web about conditioning and tricks to overcharge the battery which are more likely to damage the battery than do any good.

Thanks.
I think then its a very common misconception because most people believe that charging the phone over night can damage or decrease the battery life of phone.
Well , Now I have a clear concept.
Thank-you.

The ideal state to maximize battery life is to keep it between 50% and 30% charge, cool but not too cold temperature and only charge or discharge it very slowly or not at all.

IOW, switch it off and put it in the fridge. :)
Thank you.
U know any site or forum where I can learn more about batteries?
