Root Lithium ROM

I just flashed the Lithium ROM. So far I like it much better than a Sense based ROM. Guess i'm just boring, but it performs much smoother than the Sense based ones I tried. I do miss a few things like the video recorder, video player, gallery and camera. Does anyone know if these can be forced into an AOSP ROM via the terminal? Or are they tied into Sense and without Sense, they don't work.

One thing I noticed though was that my 3g bars went down to two bars in my house when they were always 3-4 bars. I didn't know if maybe this ROM being a bit older used an older baseband version. What is the most current baseband version HTC\Verizon released for our Dincs? Mine is 2.15.00.07.28.

Thanks

Sense features can only be used on sense roms, there are similar alternatives in the market to some of sense's features.
Signal bars don't really mean anything, you have to look at the db levels for an accurate signal reading. You do have the most current official baseband, there is a newer leaked one that is around but most people report it's not worth flashing.

Thanks. I figured as much, but thought it was worth asking. I'll just deal with the inferior video player\recorder, gallery and camera for now because I like too many of the other features that the Vanilla installation has. Much better dialer, car dock, messaging, etc. Plus it's faster overall and I have an easier time creating my own custom theme, which I already did since I hated the blue and red themes that came with it.

I forgot to ask one other question if you don't mind. This ROM came with an older version of the market. So far it hasn't automatically updated the market to the new version. Can I rip the vending or market .apk out of another more current ROM and push it to my phone? And if so, what is the filename i'm looking for? I think it's called Vending, but I want to be sure before I do something wrong.
