I got a new htc evo 4g today. My daughter took it upon herself too set-up her FB on it. Must say, with all my reading here nothing is explaining that, You may or may not have more than on FB user on one phone. Now if only one FB user, how do I delete her and install me. I really have tried many different things and I end with no results. It won't even let me reset too factory settings, just won't allow it. Please help, I want too enjoy this and here I am bummed on the first app I wanted set up

Im confused. You and your daughter have different email addresses (IDs) and passwords, right? So why can't you log in using whichever account you want to access? You download the FB app....then log in using the appropriate account ID/PW.

Am I missing something?

Yes on the first question. FB came installed on the phone. Sorry too confuse you but I am too, on my lap I log her off, and I sign in, simple. On the evo can't sign her out (does she have to be signed out) But if Type in my email and password all stays under her. Does that help ?? Is one FB app for only one person ??

You need to log out first...then you can re-log in using anyone else's info. Scroll down to the bottom of the page...you will see link "LOG OUT MARY JANE". Then you can re-log in using someone else's info.

Basically, you have to log out and re-log in.

On the FB for HTC, the log-out link is at the bottom of each page....
On the FB for Android App, the log out button is on the pop=up at the bottom when you press the MENU button at bottom of the phone (not the screen but one of the button at the bottom of the phone)

It's easy enough to tell if you're using faceboot for HTC sense. Do this:

menu->settings->accounts & sync. Do you see Faceboot for HTC Sense with her name under it? If so, select it, and you can select the option to remove the account at the bottom, then add yours. Start with that. If that's not the case, then you must be using the actual android app.

EDIT: Sounds like you're probably using the HTC Sense version. Try the above.
