Ok so iv always loved my phones i like to customize my phones and gadgets as i did with my ipod touch a while back when i jailbroke it and changed its appearence.... What i want to know is..... Is rooting the right way to customize the appearence of my sensation or isit only launchers that can change appearence, thanks in advance

It depends on exactly what you want to change, rooting and flashing a custom ROM allows the greatest degree of customisation both aesthetically and in terms of performance.

If you just want to change the look alone then something like LauncherPro from the Market will do the job.

My personal suggestion, root, try some custom ROM's and enjoy a better looking, better performing phone You should probably be aware of the implications of rooting on warranties etc and also the very small risk of bricking your phone. If you follow the guides correctly though, the risk is pretty much negligible. It's not reading instructions properly that cause 99.9% of problems people have

Well... the international one at least(the one that says HTC in the middle above the screen like mine).

So iv come to the end of the road guys, iv rooted my phone, i have clockwork recovery v5.0.2.0 and super cid i dont know the next steps to take as i dont want to be building up my sdcard with diffrent recovery's ect.... any suggestions? many thanks

Hi, as i said in my last post chose and flash a custom ROM of your choice. A good place to start is the one i linked to.
