Live dmesg or Live logcat not working

Has anyone got this working? During boot it runs fine but the display is distorted. I had always run it on my Triumph so I'm wondering if it's an ICS thing.

I use the paid version. Looks fine for me. Worked under stock ROM. I now use MeanROM and it still works.

Some I have the paid version I have it set to double size and 270 degree rotation.

I have the paid version also, when it runs it displays on a wavy diagonal like the sync is off or something. It did mention that it might have issues with s-on devices but I'm s-off so I don't know.

I'm HTC unlock S-On so I doubt that is it. I used the free version to start and it worked ok. I can even tap the screen and get it to cycle between logcat and dmesg and the split screen with both. I currently have the copyright off, double size. I have the text display in landscape with the camera button up. I don't remember if that required a 270 degree rotation for this phone. I know my Sprint HTC Evo View 4G needed the rotation setting.

I give up, chalk it up to one of the mysteries of the cosmos. Both worked fine on my Triumph but no joy here. I've done it s-on, s-off, factory and custom rom.
