I put it in my cart while signed out for $25 and then signed in and used my employee discount for the dock. That's what you get VZW for making me wait so long. Lol Corporate store would only honor my 25% discount so got it online.

I was thinking about getting the extended battery so I followed this link to the Verizon site, but for me it is only showing the discounted price of 35% off that I believe is part of my work discount that I would get on all accessories.
Edit: I just tried adding it to my cart while logged out of my account and it rang up for the full price of $49.99 - no discount mentioned anywhere

They are different. everyone keeps saying that the stock door fits PERFECT with the extended battery, this is NOT the case, it fits I'd say 98%. the extended battery will bulge out the stock door ever so slightly and there will be a small gap on the bottom.
The differences in the 2 battery doors are very very slight, but the extended battery door does not have the "ski jump" on the bottom, it goes flat.
IMO, the door that comes with the extended battery fits BETTER and you cant really notice much of a difference.

the difference is so small that it should not matter. per my last post the stock battery door DOES fit with the extended battery but fitment is a little funky.
logout and clear your cache, close and open new window to get it.
I was having problems until I cleared my cache then it went through.

Yup, stopped by vwz local store (yes, "corp store" I hate that term), and one of the employees bought the last one.
They did confirm 50% off, so I just had one sent to my work.

Did you call your local VZW store? They can do the SAME EXACT ORDER... I'll bet a call to 611 could do the same thing, but just sharing my story bro!

I had to log out of my account because my corporate 25% discount was over-riding the 50% discount. Finally got there.

GET THEM WHILE THEY ARE THERE, you can't get a `droid charge` extended battery anymore! Been that way for a while now, and that phone is what 6 months old, ugh.

Well the local corp VZW store had them at full price on release day
So VERY good to know that you can walk in and if a half competent retail associate is there, you are golden... if it's in stock... and many stores in my area have them in stock, I just don't want to drive the extra 9 miles, 2 day free shipping is fine with me since the stock battery is stellar in it's performance!
If you look in the notification bar, there is an icon for changing input methods. I guess they thought this was easier to find.
For those interested in the extended battery, get it. I got mine from Verizon for $25 yesterday, it is a decent amount bigger(2100 vs 1850) but the new back cover only makes the phone an insignificant amount. I got about 12 hours of life today(first day).
