Live Wallpaper Lag ??

I downloaded and installed all of the galaxy s live wallpapers through the xda developers forums and they look amazing but they all cause a huge amount of lag especially when swyping through screens.. any thoughts as to why this might be happening and if so any solutions ??

Solution is uninstall. The Galaxy S has a slightly better processor as well as a dedicated GPU i think so that's why.

could also be poor code or a slow memory leak.

for example, im using the circuit board paper and with all it does there is no lag for me...

30 Fps. Everybody keeps saying it doesnt matter. Hum..... the lag occurs when switching screens, just like it does now. Just not as noticible.

Idk about it having a better processor . Their both 1ghz nd from wht i seen nd from me playing around with it a little the galaxy has a lot of lag.. my number one guess wuld be tht its just a bad port

I think live wallpaper adds a little lag period. I only use the pre installed live wallpaper. It seems to work the best with the phone. I like the Zombie live wallpaper but i can definitely see the lag.

None of the live wallpapers I've checked do ANYTHING when not visible. They use no CPU, so they can't be slowing things down.

Now maybe the Galaxy S wallpapers are poorly coded, I don't know. But an app that's idle won't cause any other slowdowns.

Uh, they're made for a phone with an actual GPU. I don't understand what's so hard to comprehend about that.

I concur with the FPS issue. Someone who is rooted and using the FPS unlocked kernel should chime in with results.
