I have noticed this phone has never been as smooth as I wanted since I bought it. It wasn't until today that I decided to turn off Aurora Live Wall Paper. I noticed an instant speed increase. I don't experience any lag anymore. I am loving it!

Just a tip for anyone experiencing lag.

Great tip... But my live wallpaper is too pretty... I'll take the lag.

That is how I felt for a while, but the increase is astounding to me and I am getting used to the textured black background. Hopefully this increases battery life a bit as well.

Yeah I had the falling leaves wallpaper and it looks amazing but definitely slowed down the phone. When I went to textured black it's back to normal. On a side note, anyone noticing some lag when you hit the home button when you're in an app or some other screen? Some reviewers noted this but wasn't enough to deter me from buying the phone.

Once 2.2 gets released, I doubt there will be any lag issues with everything running.
