Help Live wallpapers

[Wolvie66]

Couldn't find so will ask.
Is there anyway to make you own live wallpapers on the Droid X?
Like can you take a picture you have on your phone and put it as you wall paper, then add like rain, snow etc to that pic?

Thanks

to make those effect you would have to know java development or possible create it with app inventor. there are a few apps that allow you to make animated wallpaper from several images but not in the way you are asking.

I don't think its possible but ownskin let's you make your own live wallpaper and you can use short video clips. Maybe if you could find a short clip of rain with a clear background you could layer that onto a regular wallpaper
