Live Wallpapers...

Well other than the stock phase beam Live Wallpaper, all the LWP on the device and off the market tend to be slightly laggy. This is no secret, but what is the reason? Is it hardware limitation or simply optimization of the OS with the LWP's? Its not a BIG deal, just something Im curious about...


Oh and slightly off topic, is it possible to get the old original Galaxy S LWP's on this device?

as far as the performance issue i'm going to go with it is probably a software optimization problem between the app and ICS.

I've noticed that myself. The Nexus and Microbes really show lag.

It's odd that the phase beam seems to work perfectly.

I had this same issue until I installed the NOVA launcher. I went through all of the live wallpapers the other day using NOVA launcher and the same lag did not seem to exist. Has anyone else noticed this, or am I just imagining???

I havent used NOVA yet. I'll have to check it out and see if I notice a difference.
