Live Wallpapers

[ericnail]

Is there any hope of Eris getting them?

If not, is there any way for developers to make a workaround that would work?

There is a hope the Eris along with other handsets could get them, at the moment the dev community is working on live wallpapers for the HTC G1 and Magic so you never know!

I could care less actually. Wow, eye candy, but seriously, my friend has a Droid and he has a custom ROM installed with live wallpapers, and it looks great. His battery also dies in like 3 freakin hours. It's ridiculous. He went into his battery usage, and live wallpapers said like 80%.

i'd heard from some others with Droids that the live wallpapers didn't really make much of a difference when it came to their battery life.

Why would they make them for the G1.. Guess you gotta start somewhere
