Llama location app not working with LTE enabled?

Is anyone using Llama on the Volt? I'm having a problem where if I have LTE enabled, I get no tower information in Llama, but if I disable LTE, then Llama can suddenly figure out where I am by tower. I don't know if it's an app problem or if it's a phone problem, so I'm posting here and I also sent a message to the app developer.

Is anyone else seeing this problem? Thanks!
 
I have an LG G3 & I've also been having issues with Llama since getting this phone, I have the best luck with LTE off too. Have you learned anything new?
 
Dang. I don't think we have a general Llama thread, I know there are others that use Llama here but I'm not sure how to find them!
 
People have always had trouble with Llama and LTE, and there's a reason for it. LTE uses only a handful of cell ID's and recycles them through a given network. It's more entirely possible that you would get a cell ID at home, and then get the same one on the other side of the town (or on the other side of the country).

tl;dr LTE cell ID's are useless for Llama.
