Lurker
I upgraded my desire hd from 2.3.3 to 2.3.5 and now everytime i exit an app, or messages, or ANYTHING it is constantly reloading all icons on the home menu. This is sooooo iritating and I am asking if someone has the same problem and how he solved it and if it can't be solved i want to downgrade to 2.3.3 and start using my phone normally again. The 2.3.5. look is cool but this loading is killing me. i would be really grateful if someone can help me.

Can you expand a little on what you mean by reloading? Do you mean your icons aren't there and it takes a little while for them to re appear?

Do you have a lot of apps moved to the SD Card?

It is due to HTC Sense issue with FC... It may be to do with Apps you have installed on your SD card that may be causing an issue... but yea factory reset will solve the problem :D

I have a similar problem on my 2.3.5 DHD but it only seems to happen after an app has been installed or updated from the market. If you have automatic updating in place, maybe this is way. I turned that off a while back after having issues with it.

I had a couple of icons not opening, but when i couldnt remember what they were thought i cant use them that often!

Omg I have the same problem too. The screen with your wallpaper has this annoying loading icon then it loads again rite ? how to fix it please tell me :-)

Same here. HTC Desire HD, Android 2.3.5, Sense 3.0. Pretty much every time I go to the home screen the phone seems to reload/restart. It makes multi-tasking nigh-on impossible because tasks that are in progress stop e.g. Bluetooth transfers. I have to wait until one activity has stopped before starting another. Very annoying.

There's a new software update - I checked for updates and there was a new one available. Once installed restart your phone, it doesn't do it automatically and the fixes won't work otherwise. I've not had a problem since.

Thanks for the info... I hope that this means that the majority of people's issues should be sorted, as it seems that some people have had no luck at all with the upgrade!
