Root Loading .sbf issue

Rooting my phone for the first time today and starting with SPRecovery. I follow the guides and videos and have rebooted my system and re-installed my driver, and run as administrator, but the .sbf file never loads into RSD lite v4.6. so nothing ever happens in the file properties window. My phone says that it is connected in the program and boot screen on my phone looks fine as well.

What step am I missing here! its driving me nuts.

What operating system are you running?

Windows Vista Business 32-bit

That should not have a problem, but just out of curiosity - are you running RSD Lite as admin?

yeah I have been. I think im going to try this on another computer tomorrow and see if I can have any luck. Ill post back with what happens

Good deal - XP has been known to work as well as Windows 7 32bit - Vista has always been wonky for me in nearly everything I did, but I have never used business, only Ultimate....

Well looking some more at it this morning, but Im blocked from Mediafire on this computer and cannot download the SPRecovery file. Anyone give me a link to this hosted somewhere else?
I think an issue may be in the driver Im using. Last night i was installing Motorola 32-bit driver 4.2.0 and today the link i used was 4.6.0 . still cant find out if the file will load until I download it, but tonight Ill try on my computer to change the driver
