Help Location fails to update

After a recent trip away I have come back and the HTC clock widget does not update to the current location... it is stuck on 'United Kingdom' instead of my current location...

As a test I went for a drive today and whist 'Latitude' showed where I was, the google home page still showed the wrong location, and HTC widget still showed just 'United Kingdom'...

This has just got me stumped..

I had that problem - now I'm rooted and on 2.2 it's working normally again.

Have you tried updating it manually? If you click the widget, it should open up the weather app that has a sync button.

If that fails, then you can try disabling all wireless connections and re-enabling them. That works for me as well.

Yep and its the same... my current location is Maidstone, and I have Maidstone as an additional location set up and that updates just fine.. its just the 'current location' that reports 'United Kingdom'...

Now I look at it, seems to be like the other threads... the current location 'United Kingdom' is reporting identical values to my Maidstone location..
