Help location notification keeps popping up diving me crazy ! !

Hi,

I just got my incredible s yesterday and it has an extremely annoying issue.

The phone will make the notification sound the little led will flash ect.

when I unlock the phone there's a pop up and it says HORSHAM which is where I live.

I have the option to cancel or save the message, if I save it it goes into messages and says its from the phone number "50"

and I don't really know what causes it as the times it happens are random. it might pop up 5 times within a minute or I might get one after 20min.

I'm running android 2.3.5 & HTC sense 3

if you need any more details just let me know.

I just want the pop ups to stop

This has been answered on another thread. Go into Settings -> Call and uncheck the Cell Broadcast option.
