Help Lock .. it kills me!

I finally left the iPhone and joined the Android club -- I love my EVO!

Only thing that annoys me, isn't really killing me yet, is the lock screen. My phone is used for corporate business so I'm signed into an ActiveSync profile with security settings requiring a lock. Is there any way to kill the "OK" button so that once the real password is entered the phone unlocks, similar to the iPhone?

Been looking around and hadn't seen anything, I figure it's just a minor thing that nobody really worries about.

TIA

I saw a few of those on the market. I don't want to get rid of my lock screen for the purpose of someone picking up my phone and acting ******ed, I just wondered if it could mimic my old iPhone where I just punched in my code and it auto unlocked instead of having to hit the OK button.

Gotcha. I've never had the need for something like that so I've never looked. I wish you luck with your search!

Indeed ... I do love my EVO though! I think I'm safely happy to say goodbye to my iPhone. Really didn't have a choice, company asked me to pilot the Android for a possible choice when requesting cell phones. We currently approved Blackberry and iPhones, so I'm happy to add Android to our list of options since we get so many requests for them. I must say I see why! I do a lot of work from my phone and having a true viewer like Acrobat is just phenomenal. Not to mention all the quick access information I can display on the home screens. :)

Haha.. I completely understand your trivial frustration... having used the 3g, then the 3gs, and finally the ip4 until last month, the lock screen took a while getting used to the extra step.. But, it doesn't bother me anymore!

Unfortunately, I have yet to see a bypass to this...

The OK is there as the EVO can be made more secure than the iPhones with a longer password, not just limited to 4 digits.

Have you tried the swiping or making a drawing password to see if that requires pressing OK after drawing it?

Unfortunately they have disabled pattern :(

I wonder .. I saw an app that bypasses the exchange server policy, I wonder if it will bypass it but still let you chose your own lock settings?
