Help lock screen ink color doesn't work..

I've had this phone for a week now and it's just outright the best phone I've ever had. I have not had a single complaint with this phone, it's just a masterpiece. I do have one qualm though, I noticed you can change the lock screen wave ink color, but not matter I do,it never works. Is this a bug? Or do I have to have a blank lock screen with no clock running? It's just a standard picture with the clock and date on the lock screen as of now..

I'm on t-mobile and my ink effect setting has been grayed out since I got it. I think it's supposed to be that way. :dontknow:

I think it's only available on the ripple, and you have to set it to that. But mine still doesn't work...

Ok, I've got it figured out and it's lame. I'm on Tmo, btw. Yes, it has to be set to "Ripple" for it to even work. Here's the fun part though, it only seems to work with the S-pen. The issue is that if the screen is off and I pull out the S-pen, the screen automatically unlocks when set to swipe lock screen. So, pretty useless unless you are just showing off the effect to a friend for whatever reason.
