Help Lock screen Notifications "Connected to Wifi" EVERY time phone locks/wakes

Lollipop on Verizon M8.

I guess I like the new lock screen notifications but NOT the one showing that it is connected to my home Wifi EVERY time I wake up the screen. Or when I'm outside my home range and other Wifi networks are found.

Seems to behave strange compared to other notifications. The "Wifi is Conected" or "Wifi Networks Found" is showing on the lock screen EVERY time the phone screen is turned on, then when I swipe and unlock the phone there is NOT a notification icon in the top bar (left side).

Is there some way to turn it OFF just for Wifi connected/found?

I rebooted the phone and seems to have helped with the "Wifi is Conected" or "Wifi Networks Found" on the lock screen but it has now changed to "Finding Location" banner notification on the lock screen when waking the screen. The "Finding Location" banner does quickly disappear.

I hate this too! I don't want this stupid notice on my lock screen about WiFi or anything else. Please someone explain how to shut this garbage off. I was about to ask this. It only happened after I upgraded to lollipop and did my factory reset.

I think you can disable ALL lock screen notifications:
Settings > Sound & Notification > Notification > When Device is Locked > Show All Notification content > On/Off

I like it for email and texts, but not wifi and location. Seems we either have it ALL on or off.

I am trying that, seeing if shutting off lock screen notifications will work for me. Most things I like on lollipop, this is the only big annoyance so far.
