Help Lock screen notifications

Hi again...being new to motorola, I miss the feature from my eris that showed missed calls and snippets of new texts on the lock screen. Now, I have to turn on, unlock, and pull up my messages/missed calls. Too many steps for me. Any app suggestions? Thanks!

Try Widget Locker maybe. I had this feature on my HTC Incredible and I didn't like it too much in case someone was trying to unlock my phone and saw the first line or two of a text message without having to unlock it.
