Help Lock screen on/off

Hi everybody,

sometimes I use my Galaxy Note with no codes, sometimes I lock it with a pattern, sometimes with a password and finally with the pin code. well, it so happens that today when I used it with the pin code the lock screen turns on and off by itself, lots of times. but that just seems to happen only when I use the pin code for I haven't seen this problem when using no codes or the pattern. has anyone also experienced this?

I too have today noticed that my note is displaying the same problem. I have always had the code lock screen on since new and never seen this happen. While charging it tonight it started to turn itself on/off 5 times in a row for a second or two each time repeatedly - charger in and out. The only new thing i have done is update it recently.
Has anyone sorted this as i've tried to find out whats wrong on the internet and have found very little about it.
I presume it may be a software glitch?
