Help Lock Screen Question

Decided to FINALLY use a password lock screen. When I enable it, the stock lock screen still comes up. When I swipe to unlock then the password screen comes up. There has got to be a way to remove the stock lock screen. I been looking in "location & security settings" section but can't find it.:confused:

There's no way to remove the stock swipe-to-unlock.

According to the WidgetLocker developer, the swipe-to-unlock and password screens are tied together within Android, and Motorola added to this by tying the swipe screen with the pattern unlock screen as well - some of the builds of Froyo that remove most of Blur also let you have pattern unlock without the swipe screen.

It's to keep you from accidentally activating it in your pocket and thus maybe locking yourself out with repeated "pocket dials" of your password.

I've been using an app called AntiLock (there's both a free and paid version). With this app, you have the options of No Lock mode and Skip Lock mode. No Lock turns off all locks so when you turn your screen on, it goes right to your home screen without having to do any unlock (No Lock app also does this). Skip Lock mode skips the stock swipe screen unlock and goes directly to your pattern unlock screen so you don't have to do both the swipe unlock and the pattern unlock. It's not perfect though. When you turn on your screen, it actually flashes the swipe unlock screen momentarily before going to the pattern unlock screen. And if you happen to hit the wrong pattern on the screen, it reverts back to the swipe unlock then pattern unlock. Closest I've been able to get to just the pattern unlock screen only, something which the phone was capable of doing before Froyo came along.
