I would like to be able to have a different lock screen wallpaper on my evo as opposed to sharing the same one with the home screen. My call to HTC informed me there is not a way to do it at present. This forum's posts confirm the same. HTC and some forum members thought there may be an app to do it. Anybody know of one? Thanks for your help!

Lockbot allows you to customize your lock screen picture and lets you use lock screen motions from other phones. The free version doesn't let you customize as much as the paid version does.
