Hey all, just scooped up the incredible 2 yesterday seems excellent so far. Is there a way to remove the lock screen altogether, because even when you put a password on you still have to slide it down and then put the pw... Another question was can you remove all that software that it came with, I tried using uninstalled app and it doesnt see those apps for some reason.

had the phone one day, what would you rate the phone.... out of 5

p.s got the 14 day return policy so I wanna make sure this is the phone for me.

Sadly, it's called bloatware for a reason, and there's no way to uninstall it out of the box. That said, it's recommended that if you want to remove it, you don't. Rather, you temp root, then use something like Titanium Backup to freeze it. As I understand it, there can be problems with firmware updates if things aren't there.

I don't know of a way to remove the lockscreen, but there are replacements that you might like better. I use WidgetLocker.
