Help Locked Contactsn- non editable

I have a Droid 3 and had Verizon move my contacts from my Palm Centro to my new Droid.

Now, I can't edit any contact that came across in that transfer; they say "Preset contact information is not editable on the device".

Any help appreciated.

i had the same issue when the Verizon store transfered contacts. They also did not know how to fix it. I had to reenter them. I also had an issue with Verizon Backup Assistant. It was not backing up everything. Imhad to get a second D3 because of other issues. I used Google now to backup my contact and it works flawlessly.
