Help Locked out of galaxy s vibrant! help:(

found my little bro playing with my galaxy and he changed the lock code and forgot what he put! and my gmail account is NOT working! and my computer isnt reading the phone when i plug it in... is there a way i can get to the home screen because i absolutely have no idea what my lil bro put as the dot pattern.

Sounds like you may need to do a master reset on the phone and restore it to default settings.
