if the path to fastboot.exe is now C:\casioKit\fastboot.exe, in your command prompt window you type cd C:\casioKit

its fine take your time. if you rush with this phone it will be upset :P

yes just C:\casioKit. the "cd" command means Change Directory. therefore, you are changing the command prompt directory to C:\casioKit

if the path to the boot.img is C:\casioKit\boot.img, then you type fastboot -i 0x0409 flash boot boot.img

yes, however if you want i just made another script that will do this quickly. I just need to leave soon so yeah.
just extract and run the run.bat you should be all set.

it wants to update?should i let it and you dont know how thankful i am for your help, you are a lifesaver, thanks

I recommend you update because m140 has a patch for the radio and m150 removes some bloatware.

In order to do this we must put the original m130 stock boot image onto the phone, then do the update. also, you have the stock recovery, right?

What do you mean stock recovery? And what all can you do with a rooted android?

i mean for the recovery when you type adb reboot recovery, do you see an android with an exclamation point or do you see him behind a blue menu option?

being rooted has advantages like debloating (removing useless system apps), titanium backup, custom boot animation, custom ROM, etc. having a custom recovery is great for making nandroids and fixing su and installing update.zips. having a custom boot image is great to keep the phone bootloader unlocked and adb on by default.

as for the sideways keyboard, if that dosn't fix itself after the updates, i will work with you on that.

They keyboard will be ok,the version says m140 so will it be ok to update and I'll have to hook it up to my laptop later and I'll see what it does with that adb,and on the root we will hold off for now until I learn how to mess around with the customizing and stuff,I've got a old phone I can mess with, once again thanks,I was about to but a commando with a busted screen and put this one in it

yeah its all good to update. if it worked for m140, it will work for m150. after that (if it is out of warranty) I recommend you install the custom boot image and custom recovery so you have as many safeguards a possible.

I bought the phone for 20 bucks it's more than likely out of warranty since I'm not the original buyer,is it hard to install custom boot image and recovery?

Did you know if you forget the password verizon can't even fix them, they told me they have tried on these and couldn't get it to work

Nope, its just for lines of commands, and the correct images. You already flashed a custom boot image, and then back to stock. Its not that hard. Tomorrow ill help you install them and root if you want, right now It is 1:30 and I must get sleep.

Honestly I'm not surprised. The Verizon reps are given basic training on android and have no idea beyond the info they are given. I bet I know more about the phone then most reps do :P
