Help Locking Screen while playing video

Does anyone know if you can lock the screen while viewing video? My daughter loves to watch videos on my phone and insists on holding it. When she holds it she touches the screen and buttons and the video pauses or goes back to the home screen.

you can use mobo player. There is the function of locking the screen while playing the video.

But any other apps or ways to do this, say on a Galaxy Nexus?
