Help Locking text messages?

Is there a way to lock text messages on this phone? Like make it so you have to put in a password to get to the inbox? That'd be pretty useful.

I can't say if there is for the stock messaging app because I don't use it. I do however use Handcent and you can lock down the app so only you can access it.

I am assuming that you want other to be able to access other parts of your phone. If not, it is really easy to limit total access to the phone.
