Help Logging into Gmail that doesn't end in @gmail.com

[ginganinja10]

So I have a Gmail account for my college, Florida Tech, and it ends in @my.fit.edu but it a legitimate Gmail account. It says google, I can add lab extensions, the whole nine yards, so I just would like to log into it on my Incredible. But it always says its not a valid account. I'm actually positive it can work, I've heard of it doing so, just no answers as to how. Any help?

Don't know if this will help or not:

On further research you may have to set it up through IMAP:
